This module in 2HP format offers this well-known effect to "dirty" the sound ... In the 1950s, guitarists in perpetual quest for new sounds, had fun pushing the volume of the amps to saturate the sound ... Quickly, pedals made it possible to find this sound and today, it is an effect that has become essential (in different forms, fuzz, overdrive, distortion, etc ...) ... The DRIVE module (distortion) of ph modular offers, dosed in a subtle way or to the extreme thanks to its level potentiometer, a distorted sound, quite aggressive ... Be careful, even if the potentiometer is at 0, the signal passing through the Drive module appears colored, slightly altered. Very effective on bass drums, leads, etc ...

Specifications : Size 2HP (1 cm), epoxy panel 1,6 mm. Deep : 25mm (skiff friendly). PCB in epoxy FR4 dual layer, 1,6 mm. Surface finish HASL. Components tested and assembled by hand, in Brittany, France. Available as an assembled Module, no kit. In the box : Ribbon cable, M3 & nylon nuts. Consumption : ~ 0 mA (+5V) / 10 mA (+12V) / 10 mA (-12V).
